Overview

The Ericsson T29sc was the Chinese-market version of the T29 family, introduced in 2001 and normally associated with Sapphire Blue and Amethyst Purple color variants. 

The specimen in this collection is an unreleased Jade Green version. The color was developed in Malaysia, but was never offered commercially. Ericsson documentation confirms Jade Green as a T29 color variant, while surviving collector records also specifically identify a T29sc Jade Green. 

According to a former Ericsson Malaysia employee, fewer than ten examples of this particular Jade Green version are believed to have survived worldwide. This makes it an exceptionally rare example of a released Ericsson model in a color that never reached customers, and a good fit for Prototype II in the collection.
